Web and app on equal footing — and Claude can now do more for you

What used to work only in the app now works in the browser too: amount and unit when shopping, the shopping list from a photo, a complete calendar with assignment and accept/decline, holiday planning and the briefing. In return, the app gets your household's dietary preferences. Recipes show nutrition per serving, and AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT connected to Mokkeli can do a lot more. Anything that only affects the app arrives with the app update (version 1.2.0).

Shopping in the browser just like in the app

Items on the web now have amount and unit, the shopping list can be filled from a photo, and products have their own entry point with a category emoji. You can show or hide checked-off items with the eye toggle, and the most recently checked ones are listed first.

A complete calendar on the web

Events can now be edited with date, time, assignment and reminder, you can filter by person and accept or decline invitations. The meal plan shows up as a marker (a click opens the recipe), your contacts' birthdays are in there too, and changes from other devices appear without reloading.

Holiday planning, briefing and maintenance on the web

Holiday planning, until now app-only, is now available on the computer too. You can trigger the briefing yourself there and read it in detail, maintenance can be operated on the web instead of just viewed, and in the chat you can mute notifications with one switch. The chat also shows who wrote each message.

Nutrition values, recipe images and dietary preferences

Every recipe now shows nutrition values per serving. Your own recipes can get an image on the web, and you pick the category right in the form. You can now view and edit your household's dietary preferences in the app too, and the recipes of a cookbook are sorted alphabetically.

Claude and ChatGPT can do more now

AI assistants you have connected to Mokkeli can now fully edit shopping items (rename, note, category, store, assignment), delete meal plans, rename and delete cookbooks, put a plan on the shopping list, delete documents, change the family memory and write in the family chat. They can also manage categories and stores.

Tasks: undo, tidier collections, a calmer dashboard

After checking off a task you can undo it via a notice, on the web and the family board too. Completed tasks can be shown inside a collection, the collection view is tidier on web and app, and the dashboard shows only the relevant tasks, with overdue ones clearly marked. For guests with a share link, the due date appears on every task.

Also fixed & improved

  • Checked-off tasks and items list the most recently completed first, and tasks on the dashboard no longer jump around when you check them off.
  • Contacts have email, phone and note, tappable on the card; a birthday no longer lands on the wrong day on 29 February or in other time zones.
  • The web calendar displays correctly again, events are listed before routines, and clicking a date in the agenda scrolls to the top.
  • The web dashboard no longer shows tasks due tomorrow as due today, and the family board closes right away.
  • Tasks on the dashboard can be opened and edited on the web.
  • Notes are no longer lost when other fields of a task or item are changed.
  • Editing a store no longer creates a duplicate, and removing a store from a product works on the web.
  • Shopping list: items keep category and assignment when edited, favorite product and voice input add an item again, and “Remember” links the product.
  • Adding from the pantry to the shopping list works again, and new categories are reliably created on the web.
  • Shared shopping lists update on your partner's device right away, and checking off followed by a quick undo no longer flickers on the web.
  • Recurring tasks: the next occurrence is reliably created, including when checked off via a guest link or with a simultaneous undo.
  • Deleted tasks and collections no longer show up and can no longer be edited or checked off.
  • Meal plan: the recipe opens with the planned number of servings, and recipe cards in the weekly plan lead to the recipe.
  • New tasks with rotation go to the first person right away, and the collection description is saved on the web.
  • Task images appear as thumbnails on the web, the close button of the image viewer no longer sits behind the system bar, and buttons show the right mouse pointer.
  • In the app the keyboard no longer covers anything when saving a contact or product, and checking off in lists hits the right row.
You don't need to install any of this yourself — the web updates automatically, and the app gets the update via the store or TestFlight.
